Where to Go Ziplining Near St. Augustine

What better way to experience the nature of St. Augustine than from the sky? Soaring high in the air through the dense Florida foliage, you have ample opportunity to see wildlife and wave hello to those below. Below are our three favorite places for a classic St. Augustine zipline adventure.

St. Augustine Alligator Farm

The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park is a true one-of-a-kind. Collecting alligators (and crocodiles) from around the globe, the farm is the only one in the world exhibiting living specimens of all 24 currently recognized crocodilian species. The zoo hosts live gator feedings and other activities as you explore the numerous outside exhibits, like the bird boardwalk and the gator tank.

One of the most popular things to do is the Crocodile Crossing. Zoom and zip pass about 50 different obstacles as you see the alligator farm in St. Augustine from a bird’s eye view.

Zipliners will venture over nearly 50 acres, including board walking by the trees and climbing to higher heights.

Of course, don’t forget that alligators will be below you at all times! But don’t worry- they are waiting for dinner time to eat.

There are two main courses to the alligator farm St. Augustine zipline- the Sepik River Course for beginners and the Nile River Course for intermediate. Both courses are accessible for families as this is not a particularly advanced ziplining journey.

Courses run about 45 minutes to 90 minutes and are $37-67 per person. Better yet for busy travelers, the alligator farm is close to many of our vacation rentals in St. Augustine.

St. Augustine Aquarium

The St. Augustine Aquarium is a relatively new attraction, but it is already one of the best activities for families in St. Augustine. This aquarium and zipline park exhibits all of the best in zoological zaniness. Guests can rip along the trees while getting a good view of the marine life below. This includes the feeding tank, snorkeling fish tank, and yes, even the shark tank!

It is highly recommended you call ahead to reserve a spot for any of the on-site activities. This includes a shark painting experience, the Florida reef fish tank snorkeling adventure, and the southern stingray meet-and-greet.

Birthday parties and field trips are also available, though schedules vary based on season. Call ahead to confirm event schedules.
