St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival
In early May, the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort, the World Golf Hall of Fame, and the historic district of St. Augustine will come together to host the iconic St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival. This incredible event will be comprised of unique happenings like a Winemaker’s Dinner, Epicurean Master Classes, River Walk Tastings, and more. There will be a Mother’s Day Jazz Brunch on Sunday to finish it all off! Come out for yourself and discover why this event has been named one of Florida’s Top 10 Food and Wine Festivals by USA Today!
The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival will be held May 4 through 8, 2022. All attendees must be 21 or older. Tickets can be purchased online. Please note that some events require individual tickets, so you must purchase entry into each special event you hope to attend.
Wesley Wells Farms Spring Festival – May 6 and 7, 2022
The Wesley Wells Farms Spring Festival is the perfect way to celebrate the warming weather and the imminent approach of summer. At Wesley Wells, the mission is about educating visitors about agriculture and celebrating local farmers and family-owned farming operations. During your visit, you’ll be able to admire breathtaking fresh flowers and some of the most delicious produce in the area. You can also meet the Wells family, who own and operate the farm! Enjoy farm tours, food trucks, you-pick produce, a live bee display, and interactive agriculture education activities.
Entry into the Wesley Wells Farms Spring Festival costs just $5 per person. It will be held at Wesley Wells Farm, located at 2680 Ada Arnold Road in St. Augustine. Enjoy the event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
St. Augustine Brewers’ Fest – May 7, 2022
At St. Augustine Brewers’ Fest, you’ll have the chance to experience beer in a whole new way. There are some incredible breweries throughout St. Augustine, and here, you can sample them all, all in one place! More than 25 breweries from around the city and the region will be represented here, with food trucks serving up something for every palate. You and your family can also enjoy face painting, photo booths, and live music from some promising local talents. Best of all, you can rest easy knowing your admission fee is going to a good cause. The event’s proceeds will benefit the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, the local Brewing a Community non-profit, and the St. Johns County Schools Marine Science Program.
The St. Augustine Brewers’ Fest will occur from 1 to 5 p.m. on May 7. Please drink responsibly and have a designated driver for your group!
Unidos en La Musica: A Latin American Festival
Expand your musical horizons by visiting Unidos en La Musica: A Latin American Festival! The mission of this festival is not only to share some great music, though. The organizers hope that this festival will help spread Latino culture and its many facets, welcoming guests to enjoy the music, food, and cultural practices of the Latin American people. You can see stunning dancers in traditional Latin dress as they enjoy the music, meet local vendors, play games, and even learn in Latin dance workshops!
Unidos en La Musica: A Latin American Festival on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Francis Field in St. Augustine (25 West Castillo Drive). Enjoy the festivities from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for general admission online, $15 at the door, or $60 for VIP. Kids 13 and under get in for free.
Gamble Rogers Music Festival – May 6 through 8, 2022
The Gamble Rogers Music Festival is perfectly summarized by its tagline: “Celebrating a Florida legend through music.” This event will celebrate the musician Gamble Rogers, one of the most influential folk artists to come out of Florida. You’ll be able to hear musical tributes from local talents, including Belle and the Band, Veronika Jackson, The Morrow Family, Sam Pacetti, The FreeRangers, and more. Acts will perform on two stages within St. Augustine’s Colonial Quarter and another stage in Riberia Gardens across the street. (Riberia Gardens will host the kids’ activities as well.) If you’d like to support the cause but won’t be in town for this event, keep your eyes peeled for more information about the First Annual Gamble Rogers Gala in October!
