Check Out The Coolest Places To Get A Beer Near St. Augustine!

If your beach vacation takes you to Florida’s east coast, you will most definitely want to try the best beer places to pair with your St. Augustine beachfront rental.

Even if you are not a beer drinker, these spots have a fun and friendly vibe that will make for unforgettable experiences.

Enjoy this list of the best beer in St. Augustine!

Dog Rose Brewing

Dog Rose Brewing Co. opened its doors in October of 2017 in the historic neighborhood of Lincolnville, mere blocks from the center of the historic district of St. Augustine.

Their tap room is spacious and open yet cozy and inviting, where you can comfortably enjoy their variety of drinks and snacks. Whether you are feeling like having a lager or an IPA, they’ve got you covered.

For beers on tap, the Lincolnville Lager is a top choice. Other popular options include the Roadside IPA and the sweet cider Angry Orchard.

For wine drinkers, consider a red Pinot Noir with plum and strawberry called MWC from Australia or a crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc so good that its name is White Heaven. They also offer Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio.

Enjoy your drink at their handcrafted Ambrosia maple bar, and then enjoy a friendly game of shuffleboard on one of their 16’ tables or even a game of darts on their professional dart boards, if that is more your speed. With 5,000 square feet of space, there is more than enough room to spread out with all your friends.

Whatever you do, don’t miss out on their potato chips and split pretzels.

You’ll find them open all week long at 77 Bridge St. St Augustine FL 32084.

Bog Brewing Company

Bog Brewing Company opened its doors in March 2016 and has since grown at the same pace as the Northeast Florida craft beer scene. Head Brewer and Co-Owner Steve Mendoza leverages his years of experience in the craft beer scene as well as his travels overseas to inform and inspire the beers he creates.

Visitors can enjoy a unique selection of seasonal beers, like the Smoked Datil Ale, brewed with locally sourced hot peppers, or the Saison Blanc, a Saison aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels for 11 months. Their draft list features seasonally influenced Belgian, German, and American Farmhouse style ales.

They may not have all of your favorite beers on tap at all times, as they are constantly rotating half of the draft list, but it is their philosophy that it is half the fun of the American craft beer scene to try new beers and new experiences routinely.

They are located at 218 West King St St. Augustine, FL 32084, and they are open all week long. Be sure to check it out when staying in our St. Augustine condo rentals
