Excellent House for Large Groups

By: Trip Date: 2020-07-18
The house was really well laid out for large families. Plenty of room to spread out. It was well equipped, albeit a little tired. The beach is perfect! The path in front of the house is quite natural and I would not recommend small children traverse it. We saw a few snakes on it during our stay. The boardwalk is close enough to use easily.

The two issues we had were:
1. The house was not ready until nearly an hour after check-in time. The welcome package indicated that there were special COVID protocols being used, but I walked in on the cleaning crew and they were not wearing masks or gloves, which the protocol said they were doing. We re-cleaned everything when we entered.
2. The management scheduled a repair to the washing machine, but did not reach out to us until the repairman was at the house. Of course some of us were at the beach. When we didn't answer the door, the manager went to the back of the house and tried to enter through the sliding door. This scared the folks that were there. Not good practice! We should have been notified the day before the repair and no one should try to enter the house from the back. Period.

That being said, the house is completely worth it and the beach is a stunner. I'd still recommend.

Wonderful Family vaca

By: Trip Date: 2020-07-25
We stayed here for our family (8 adults) vacation. Wonderful set up with 2 rooms up stairs and 3 downstairs. If you want to lay in bed and look at the ocean this is not the house for you, we are more of the get up and go to the beach people! As someone comment previously stated the trail to the beach could use a lot of grooming to make it wider but I spent an extra 15 minutes walking to the house and turning all the vines away from path which helped a little. Warning The dunes are wide at this part of the beach and path is not straight. So you get a little work out walking to beach. The way you look at it makes it a good thing or a bad one. There is a public walkway not far down the road but we stay on the beach to walk out the back door to it. Kitchen is well stocked. The dorm size fridge downstairs is a nice extra. With COVID-19 we didn’t do any site seeing, so the extra tables were great for game time and family. We really enjoyed our stay.

So much more than we imagined

This house was fabulous. There were 7 of us plus a dog. The views from the house are breath taking. It rained almost everyday we were there but we could still take in the ocean from the huge windows. The three rooms in the basement were much bigger than the pictures showed. It was a very easy walk to the beach and we spent hours down there (even in the rain). The house was well maintained and equipped. I loved that the teenagers could watch a movie down stairs and the adults hang out upstairs working on a puzzle. There are 3 tables so you can set up a puzzle of game and not need to take it down for dinner. We will be back again!

Family vacation 2019

By: Trip Date: 2019-10-03
We stayed 6 nights in October. 8 adults 3 children ages 6, 4 and a 9month crawler. We enjoyed the large home with excellent views. Nice neighborhood for walking exercise also very short walk to beach. Turtles, snakes, and lizards delighted the 6 year old immensely. Everything we needed was furnished with this home. We recommend this home highly.
