The bar features a menu of wine by the glass, considered by many to have the best selection in the state. There are over 70 wines that are available to suit any palate. You will notice that forty-five of the wines are rated ninety or more. Some favorites are Rochioli, Paul Hobbs, DuMol, and Caymus.

Casa De Vino 57
Casa De Vino 57 offers not only incredible wine but exciting history as well. Built in 1807, Casa De Vino 57 was initially known as the Joaneda House. The initial goal in opening the wine bar was to provide several types of wine to both those who are new to wine and those who already love it. With the friendly staff, you’re guaranteed to have tons of fun!
Not only will you enjoy wine here, but you will also enjoy music, cheese, and charcuterie selections from around the world. You may also schedule a private wine tasting, which includes a consultant and allows you to taste the finest wines. If you choose a private tasting, you will have a consultant who has been with the wine industry for decades and can teach you about the various selections.
This wine bar is open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. The bar will remain open on Friday and Saturday nights until 11 p.m. You’ll find Case De Vino 57 at 57 Treasury Street.
Carrera Wine Cellar
When you walk into Carrera Wine Cellar, you will have the most unique experience. You will notice that the employees are passionate and seek to make the occasion perfect for each guest. You’ll enjoy a destination that is fun, simple, and relaxing. You can enjoy just a glass or a whole bottle. The option is up to you! This choice is another of the best St. Augustine wine bars, and for good reason.
You will enjoy this wine bar because not only is it a bar, but there is also a wall of goodies from which you can purchase. The souvenirs include everything from candy to drink items and much more. You will not forget your experience here!
The hours are currently Wednesday through Saturday from noon until 8 p.m. On Sunday, they are open from noon until 5 p.m. Carrera Wine Cellar is closed on Monday and Tuesdays.
Isabela’s Bar Cuba
If you are looking for things to do in St. Augustine, then you are in the right place. The first thing you will notice about Isabela’s Bar Cuba is that it is gorgeous on the outside. Plus, it is more than just a wine bar. If you like cigars, then this is the place for you. You can taste wine and enjoy a nice cigar all in one spot!
On Monday through Thursday, the bar will be open at 11 a.m. and will close by 10 p.m. You can expect the bar to remain open on Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m. On Sunday, they close at 10 p.m. If you want to visit this beautiful Cuban-themed wine and cigar bar, walk down to Cuna Street.
The Cellar Upstairs
For an upscale experience, head to The Cellar Upstairs. You will love this wine bar because it features live music, including jazz music, Blues, and R&B. There is also a restaurant so that you can enjoy your wine with a light snack. Not only is wine available, but you can also taste domestic and imported beers. While visiting, be sure to check out their open-air deck where you can sit while enjoying the live music and your unique wine selection.
This bar is only open Thursday through Sunday. On Thursday and Sunday, they open at 11:30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, they will remain open until 10 p.m.
The Drunken Horse
The Drunken Horse started in 2009 as a gourmet wine bar in New York City. However, moving forward to 2020, it is now located in St. Augustine, Florida. Lucky us!
The menu has added many French dishes to honor the previous owner’s experience with French foods. The Drunken Horse is also known for the fantastic brunch that is served during certain seasons. The brunch menu is not available during the winter seasons.
As you enjoy the grounds, you’ll find that The Drunken Horse has new courtyards in the front and back of their building. You can relax in either of these courtyards while you sample the various wines and enjoy quality time with your family and friends.
Visit The Drunken Horse any time after 4 p.m. on any day. On Sunday through Thursday, you should leave by 10 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, you can expect the bar to close at 11 p.m.
